The Experts are a Problem
Here’s one of our big problems. The so-called “experts” tell us that our kids are supposed to be:
- Reading at this age
- Printing upper and lowercase letters by this age
- Reading chapter books by (insert age)
- Writing a sentence, a paragraph, an essay by…
You get the idea.
And if you’re reading this, you’ve likely found yourself overwhelmed by the demands of benchmark standards that have never once considered your unique child. This is where the problem lies.
